[...] Partnership and Engagement: In Saskatchewan, Boards of education/CSF and the provincial government are partners in education where elected boards of education/CSF are responsible for achieving mandated provincial goals and priorities and the provincial government is responsible for providing the resources needed to achieve those goals and objectives. [...] Boards of education/CSF work with the Ministry of Education to jointly develop and periodically review a transparent, sufficient, predictable and sustainable funding formula for the planning, building and maintenance of education infrastructure that maximize education equity, student learning, and are aligned with the needs and priorities of school boards. [...] Productive and harmonious working relationships between board of education and their employees are critical to the success of the educational endeavour, and the collective bargaining process should reflect the importance of those relationships and be directed to support and sustain them. [...] Allocation of resources to partnerships will not compromise the standards of services and administration of the boards of education or the Association.
