Public Hearing Correspondence, December 12, 2022 - Package 2

12 Dec 2022

Traffic increased and now it backs up all the time and it is not safe trying to get to discovery trail on a bicycle, because the drivers think it's a freeway, and a lot of the birds are gone now, and no more deer You want to put 10 townhome units next to me, and that is ridiculous, going from the 5 or 6 neighbors and 3 or 4 cars to 30 to 40 people and the cars to go with it and the traffic it will. [...] I say NO to losing my privacy with these 3 story townhomes overlooking my yard NO to all the increase in noise from more people right next to me, and their cars running in and out all- day NO to traffic increase on Immel st, there is already too much, and traffic backs up all the time NO to messing with my trees on my property, NO trimming, those trees belong to me NO to the construction noise tha. [...] I know you have already pushed this through and no matter what I say you are going to go ahead with it, and this stinks of favoritism too I received these public hearing notices less than a week before the due date for this letter I am not a contractor and the plans are not really clear to me, it was hard for me to get access to the actual planning files and has left me little time to research all. [...] and you know what you don't care Yes I voted in the election for the new mayor and council, but only 3 that I voted for got in and they were on the council what I am saying is now have people that I did not want in power in the first place, because I did not vote for them, having the decision on my fate and you also have a 6-story condo on the other side of me that your pushing through, thanks for. [...] was originally designed to handle, in all directions - What is the plan to fix and future proof this intersection and traffic congestion in the area? Will the city take a proactive approach and do something now? Or will it take a tragic accident and reactive response like so many other intersections and crosswalks over the years in this city? It’s only a matter of numbers and time.
