George (Downtown Toronto) Description: The Department of History in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the history of China, Medieval/Early Modern. [...] The successful candidate will be expected to pursue innovative and independent research, and to establish an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program. [...] In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach an introductory survey in Chinese history from prehistory to the 21st century and to develop more specialized undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise and/or focusing on historiography/sources.
